Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Purpose

Emaissary ("we", "us") is operated by its founder. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for outreach conducted through the Service. It exists because Emaissary drafts messages on your behalf and sends them, at your direction, through our infrastructure — so the way you use the Service reflects on every other sender who shares that infrastructure. This AUP is part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms of Service.

Required

Whenever you use Emaissary to conduct outreach, you agree to:

The Human-Approval Model

Emaissary's agents research prospects and draft outreach, but no message leaves the Service without a person reviewing and approving it first — the Service does not send autonomously. Because of that, compliance with this policy is shared: we provide the drafting tools, safeguards, and controls, but you own the decision to send, and the legal and practical responsibility that comes with it.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy are handled proportionately. In most cases we will issue a warning and ask you to correct the behavior; repeated or unresolved violations may lead to suspension, and continued violations to termination of your account. Where content is illegal or fraudulent, we may suspend or terminate immediately without prior warning.

Reporting

If you believe outreach sent through Emaissary violates this policy, report it to hello@emaissary.com. See our Anti-Spam Statement for how to report an unwanted email specifically.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
